Vancouver Vice is a game. It doesn't want your data, and it doesn't collect it.
What stays on your device
Your save game, XP and achievements live in your own browser or app storage. We never see them. Clear your browser data and they're gone.
What leaves your device
- Online play. When you open the real-streets map, your position, heading and a random player name are sent to our game server so other players can see you. Nothing is stored. When you leave, you're gone.
- Weather. The game asks Open-Meteo for the current weather in downtown Vancouver. It doesn't send anything about you.
- Maps and models. The game loads map tiles, 3D models and code from Cloudflare, jsDelivr, Cesium and Google, like any website. Those services see a normal web request.
- Site analytics. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
What we never do
No accounts. No ads. No selling data. No tracking cookies. No microphone, camera or location access.
Kids
Vancouver Vice isn't aimed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect anything from them.
